CT 017: 7 Days Mount Kilimanjaro Climb - Marangu Route
Day 1: Fly from Nairobi to Kilimanjaro Airport or take the shuttle bus to Marangu via Arusha. Overnight at Marangu Hotel or Kibo Hotel. (D)
Day 2: Drive to Mt. Kilimanjaro gate. Commence ascending walking through the rain forest to Mandara Hut –lying at 9000ft / 2750m. Stay overnight. (B) (L) (D)
Day 3: Leave the glades of forest and follow an ascending path on the open moorlands to Horombo Hut –lying at 12000ft / 3700m. Stay overnight. (B) (L) (D)
Day 4: Ascending you pass the “Last Water”walking on to the saddle between Kibo and Mawenzi arriving at Kibo Hut at 15000ft/4700m. Stay overnight. (B) (L) (D)
Day 5: Early start for the summit on steep and heavy screen up to Gilman’s point at 18640ft/5681m, which is on the greater rim. Ascending up to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa at 19340ft /5896m. From here you descend going straight down to Horombo Hut. Stay overnight. (B) (L) (D)
Day 6: Descend down to the park gates. Overnight at Marangu Hotel or Kibo Hotel. (B) (L) (D)
Day 7: The tour terminates after breakfast. (B)
CT 018:7 Days Manyara/ Ngorongoro/ Serengeti/ Olduvai / Lobo
Day 1: Drive to Lake Manyara Hotel for lunch. Afternoon drive to Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena or Sopa Lodge. (L) (D)
Day 2: After breakfast descend into the Crater with picnic lunch for a full day of game viewing. Return to the Lodge late afternoon for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena or Sopa Lodge. (B) (L) (D)
Day 3: Drive to Lobo for lunch, then an afternoon tour of Lobo area. Dinner and overnight at Lobo Wildlife Lodge, Serengeti Serena or Sopa Lodge (B) (L) (D)
Day 4: Full day tour of the Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena or Sopa Lodge. (B) (L) (D)
Day 5: Morning game drive at Serengeti with visit to the Olduvai Gorge. Lunch at Seronera. Afternoon game drive. Overnight at Serengeti Serena or Sopa Lodge. (B) (L) (D)]
Day 6: Morning drive to Lake Manyara with picnic lunch. Afternoon tour of Lake Manyara National Park. Dinner and overnight at Manyara Serena Lodge. (B) (L) (D)
